The countdown to Christmas has officially begun. The shops are starting to fill with decorations, lights are appearing on buildings and the odd Christmas song is being played on the radio.
Christmas has been going on at one Essex garden centre since the middle of September. Meadow Croft Garden Centre, in Battlesbridge, is well known for starting Christmas early with its traditional Christmas German market and this year was no exception.
The market is now in full swing, with hundreds of gifts and treats to buy for yourself or others. You can get handmade decorations, teddy bears, luck pigs, chocolate liquor, baking kits, gonks and so much more.
